Is it possible to lose weight for life by learning to eat healthy food?
You know how it is when you are hungry and you look in the fridge and the only items that look good to you and get your body all excited to eat are your favorite foods that may not be healthy. This is a common problem, but such a drag. It literally is a drag as it pulls you down to feel guilty that you ate the ice cream. And then your energy lessens and you feel like being lazy. Perhaps you walk dragging your feet instead of with a spring in your step. This down in the dumps feeling is not a fun one to have.
But, it doesn't have to end there. Yes, it can be difficult to eat healthy food all of the time, but it is doable. Just because you are eating healthy, also doesn't mean you have to cut out your favorite treat. Do you see the clouds lifting? You have the abilities you need to lift up out of the clouds and dump. Just have the courage to come out on top and out into the sunshine.
Being in the dumps is a feeling I have experience with as well. It is hard to be everything to everyone and not taking good care of yourself. But, once I decided it was time to focus on myself and accomplish my goals, I started to see results, eat healthier, and lost beyond my original weight goal.

*Fruit. We are going to try segmenting your food options to make it easier and to get the healthy food ideas in the forefront of your mind. Think about fruit in the morning. Eat fruit all morning. Have it as a smoothie, as a dried snack, or fresh. Your metabolism is going to love you as fruit will give it a kickstart.
*Veggies. Focus on veggies in the afternoon. Have a soup primarily made of vegetables. Salads are full of veggies. Create a bento box of a variety of veggies with hummus to dip it in. Try celery sticks with peanut butter for a healthy snack.
*Variety. Now for dinner, eat a variety of foods. Fruits, veggies, lean proteins, and whole grains.
As you keep your focus simple to do, it is less of worry and you are more likely to stick to it.
